Welcome to the Dubbo Christian School website.

Dubbo Christian School is a dynamic Christian learning community of around 550 fantastic students from pre-Kindergarten to Year 12.

Established in 1983 with 44 students, the school grew quickly, particularly after moving to its own site in 1987. We now enjoy modern facilities in a well established and beautiful setting. The future's looking good also as we opened our new gymnasium in 2011 and plans are underway to manage the growth of the school into the future with a number of exciting projects being planned. 

Dubbo Christian School celebrated its 30th anniversary in February this year. Copies of our commemorative book "Dubbo Christian School - Celebrating 30 Years" are available by clicking the banner on the home page or ringing our school office.

Our 30 years of operation means we have fashioned for ourselves a well established mix of tradition and heritage, sustainability and a high regard in the Dubbo community. We have developed a caring culture of high expectations in the context of genuine nurture of each student; a no nonsense approach to schooling combined with opportunity to understand and celebrate Christ’s sovereignty over everything, including all that happens in our classrooms and playgrounds.

Our commitment is to provide authentic Christian education to parents willing to work in partnership with us. We aim to help parents as they bring their children up in the ‘training and admonition of the Lord’ (Ephesians 6:4).

This caring culture doesn't mean we don't do things well academically. We achieve excellent results in the HSC and NAPLAN. DCS has placed as highly as 128th in NSW in the HSC in recent years and many of our graduates have gone on to study in areas such as medicine, law and optometry. Our teachers, right from pre-school, do a wonderful job and are a fantastic team to work with.

Above all, it is my prayer that each member of the Dubbo Christian School community will grow in the knowledge and understanding of God’s grace, rest in the hope we have in Jesus and live and work together as a community of faith and love to honour and serve Him in all that we do and say.
